SPORTING AWARDS - At the Tandridge League AGM in June The Warren Under 12, 13 and 18 teams were recognised as the most Sporting Teams in their Divisions.  The Players, Coaching Teams, Parents and Supporters of all teams are to be congratulated for this achievement.  It is a reflection on all who play, coach and watch these teams every Sunday.  The Warren JFC is proud of its disciplinary record and the behaviour of everyone connected to the Club and it is one of the reasons we are attracting more players and parents who wish to be involved in a Club run in the correct manner.

END OF SEASON - The season has now ended with varying degrees of success for all our teams.  The important thing is that everybody has enjoyed their football, as is shown by the number of boys turning up for training and matches.  Congratulations to everyone for all your efforts.  A big round of applause goes to Paul and his Under 13s who became the first Warren team to win their league and went through the season undefeated. 

At the same time we say good bye to the Under 18s who now finish Youth Football.  This team started as the first Warren team back in 2001. We wish the boys luck for the future and thank them for their contribution to the Club.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - Our AGM was held on Saturday 7th June 2008 at the Annex and was followed by Team presentations a BBQ and a fun day.

TRAINING FOR 5-8 YEAR OLDS - The training for 5-8 year olds has finished for this season but we will be starting weekly training sessions again in a month or so time.  Please check back here for start date soon.  All coaches are FA Qualified and CRB checked.  We look forward to hearing from you.

LOGO COMPETITION - We have now chosen a new logo which we are having made up to be worn on shirts.  Well done to Thomas from the Under 10s for his design a version of which you can see here.  Once we have a jpg it will appear on each page of the website.

NEW SEASON - 2008/2009 - The new season will start in September 2008.  Can you please let your manager know as soon as possible whether you wish to play next season.  It helps the manager prepare for the season and lets him know whether he has to find new players.  Registration forms and details for next season will go out shortly after the AGM.

WEBSITE - Once again I have changed the look of the website but hopefully you will still find all the information you want.  All ideas are gratefully received.  Photographs of your teams would be welcome and I will include these on the site when I get them.  You will see that we have a new website address and are now a .COM.  This was because the registration for the old site expired and it was easier to pick this address than try and re-register the old one.  I apologise in advance if sometimes I'm a little late in getting things on - sometimes this is due to computer glitches other times from being exhausted in managing my team.  However, I hope you find it interesting and if you have any ideas or improvements for the site please let me know at danny.connolly@thewarrenjfc.com
 

REMINDER - Codes of conduct are posted on our website (see link in About Us Page) and we are proud of our record and reputation in the leagues we have played in.  There have been very few incidents and complaints that I know of.  Well done to you all.

However it is important to our status as a Charter Standard club and with The Warren Sports Club that we are exemplary.

Please do not get involved with abusive people from other clubs.  Do not shout at Referees unless you are a manager coach and then only when it is right to do so.   i.e. Player down, can I make a sub etc?  Please draw matters of conduct that concern you to the attention of the manager/coach.

COMMITTEE MEETING - The date of the next Committee Meeting will be before the start of next season and a date will be confirmed.
