Child Protection Policy

 

THE FOLLOWING IS BASED ON THE FA CHILD PROTECTION POLICY STATEMENT AND WILL BE FULLY ADHERED TO BY THE CLUB.

•    The Club declares full support and compliance with the FA Child Protection policies.

•   The Club will have a designated Child Protection Officer who has attended a FA Approved Course.

•   The Club will provide the highest possible standard of care.

•   Every child or young person who plays in football at the Club will take part in an enjoyable and safe environment and be protected from abuse. This is the responsibility of every adult involved at The Club.

•  The Club recognises its responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all children and young people by protecting them from physical, sexual or emotional harm and from neglect or bullying.

•   All suspicious and allegations of abuse will be taken seriously and responded to swiftly and appropriately.

•   All active coaches are to be encouraged to attend a FA Approved Child Protection Course within one year of joining The Club.

•   All active coaches are to be encouraged to hold a recognised FA coaching qualification or working towards becoming qualified within one year of joining The Club.

•    All active coaches are to be First Aid qualified within one year of joining The Club.

•    All active coaches will be supplied with a First Aid kit, to be replenished on request.

·    All coaches of and other key personnel of the Club are required to complete the FA Personal Disclosure Form. ALL people working in a role with children in the club are required to undergo an enhanced Criminal Record Bureau check.
